Ernest is an independent cafe bar situated in the top end of the Ouseburn; we do our very best to serve up honest food, drink, music and art. We are open everyday 10am until late for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinking and dancing.

Forthcoming Events

Every Friday we hire out our back room for private parties, with drinking, dining and occasionally dancing down the front. On Saturdays we programme a series of events which are always free and open to all for drinking and dancing (eating earlier on). Weekday nights are evolving, with Tango on a Tuesday, a variety of private events and offers on other nights, and a brand new film night.
